Hours spent on the treadmill and still chubby.
Well if you are certain that your struggles are not the result of any pre-existing health conditions then I beleive I might have some solutions to your problems.
For starters spending more time in the gym does not guarantee more results especially if that time is not spent wisely. Heres why: the more time you spend exercising the more calories you will burn, which is not a bad thing but you have to understand what a calorie represents. A calorie is basically a biological measurement of food you've consumed and food provides energy for your body so naturally exercising uses more energy. Heres what you outta know: After your long and difficult workout the body will still need calories to perform its normal everyday functions but since you just spent say a thousand of those calories exercising, your body's first reaction to this is to start looking elsewhere for these calories. If it does not get them from newly consumed food then it will start consuming itself for these much needed calories cannabalizing muscle tissue to compensate for the calories you just burned. If your goal is to loose weight and this has been working for you then by all means continue doing your thing. But in a month or two you might be 10, 20 pounds lighter but unfortunately you'll still be chubby.
